Fun Shallow Dive

This is a nice relaxing shallow dive. I was there with Red Sail sports several years back. As I recall, there was an anchor but the fish seem way more interesting to me. My log book says I had 50 feet max with a bottom time of 38 minuets. Not really sure why it was so short.

Nice and easy shallow dive site

Spanish anchor right next to ' Lost treasure' is a nice and easy to dive shallow site with one real big coral head close to the mooring. Often you can see a big puffer hiding underneath there, and on my last dive there were 2 puffers playing together. Good place to spot turtles and eels too. There is a big mattress out there in the sand, if you lift it up a bit you can find lots of banded shrimps underneath, really nice.
Couldn't find the anchor, but still a nice dive!

Such a pretty site!

Spanish Anchor has a lot going on! The fingers are easy to follow out, and it's a nice shallow site that gives you a good amount of bottom time. The anchor can be a bit difficult to spot, bit it's well worth the hunt. I've seen a lot of puffer fish on this site, as well as turtles, moray eels and even a nurse shark! All in all this is a great site, with loads going on!
