Bonnie's Arch

Iconic Cayman!

This is the classic dive book guide photo! It's great to drop down the mooring line and head right to swim through the big archway. Lots of sponge growth on the arch. Look out for a the statue of a Caiman - a crocodile, the creature which the Islands are name after. You can either swim to the left after exiting the arch for a good shallow dive, staying 60 ft and above, or head to the right and get some depth.

Bonnie's Arch

Very fortunate to be able to dive the site as there was no current on a afternoon dive last December. Good color on all of the coral from the normal current, this site is probably almost dive-able from the shore entering front the Bonnie's Arch condos. There a a few pics of the arch in the later part of this video after 7:00 https://vimeo.com/115357946

Huge archway with little crocodile ...

Bonnie's arch is a great dive site right in front of the apartments from shore. The big arch that you'll find right when you drop down at the mooring pin, down to the mini-wall. Underneath the arch is the little statue of a crocodile (Caiman), it's pretty small.
There is a lot of growth on the arch itself, great for photography.
If you go to the right there is large ledge that you can explore, and you can get to about 70 F there. The top part is hard pan with a lot of sea fans and smaller coral heads, 25-30 F. Do check for currents here as it's right at the corner of the North-West.
