Always happy to dive Turtle Reef

Absolutely love this shore dive site, it suits all level of divers. The ' miniwall' is so full of life and so colourful, big sponges, sea fans, spiny and spotted lobsters, lots of shrimps, baby puffers, sting rays and lemon rays, and of course it's a great place to see a turtle. Even during the day i have seen an octopus on the edge of the wall, but at night you can almost guarantee to see one. Day or night, i'm always happy to dive Turtle Reef!

AWESOME!!!

Probably one of the best shore dives ever! This site is so easy to get in and out of, with a dive center and bar/restaurant located onsite. Easiest way to navigate this is to drop down straight away to a sandy patch about 8ft deep then follow the gradually sloping bottom to the edge of the mini-wall. Here you can decide to go to the left or right, depending on if there is any current. The left is great, you can follow the wall and swim around the coral heads nearby, max depth 60ft, then come back along the top of the mini-wall at about 30ft and finish the dive by swimming back up to the shallows. If you swim to the right you can get a bit more depth. So it is a great site for making two dives on, it makes a spectacular night dive too! Tarpon and turtles during the day and moray eels and the odd octopus during the night!

Local Favorite

This a fantastic mini wall. Lots of tarpon and just about every creature you can imagine. This is also a very popular night dive. Chances are, if your night diving in Grand Cayman, you dive company is taking you here. That's not a bad thing, if you dive this site at night, you'll love it!

You can't go wrong here!

I dove this site 3 times it was so good, one of which was at night. It won't disappoint as it has a little of everything to see. It starts out around 15-20' but the wall drops you to easily 50'+. At night we were able to douse our lights and see some bioluminescence while lounging on the sandy bottom. We even had a visit with a pretty big nurse shark. Very cool!

Love it!

This is probably the most popular shore dive on the rock. Access is easily gained down a steady ladder. Most days it's flat calm. Night dives are easy because the shore line is lit by the on site restaurant. It's a site where you can dive deep or shallow.. I could go on and on..

Beautiful Shore Dive!

I've been diving the island since 1995 and this site never disappoints. There is a new dive operator there now and the place looks better than ever topside. The ladder there is very easy to use. You can also go diving at night. The reef is shallow, maybe only 20 feet to the top. It runs with the shore in both directions so it's really easy to navigate. Off to the north is a cave full of Tarpon. This is a must see shore dive!
